I want to know how you guys first got into erotic furry art. I loved pokemon as a child. I mean, my friends and I played nonstop. Games, cards, the show. Eventually I developed an infatuation with certain pokemon (which I stressed about at the time, I thought I was the only one). So how did it start for you?

I don't think there's anything hard in writing as far as a number of days.
Usually I think if it's under a month old, I don't complain.

As far as making new versions of old threads, unless there's a real point to remaking it, I'd say don't do it.

True. Although in my case, furry hentai was the first I saw. Afterwards humans seemed gross to me.

@thread topic: I've always found anthropomorphic concepts fascinating. After watching cartoons as a kid I'd wonder if it'd feel different to be an anthropomorphic duck like Donald? What would everyday life be like for a creature with different parts like an anthro? I think that curiosity started everything and the rest just added on to it.

I drew feral animals when I was a teen. And French Impressionists gave me an appreciation for nudity and subtly erotic art. Real life porn is boring to me, so when I discovered kinky x-rated art, I was very easily hooked. Image searches led to sankakucomplex and e621 at about the same time. Both have some furry art, but e621 was having a bad few months where it was more down than up that spring. Even when I could get it to work, I'd browse for a little while before I'd feel conflicted about it and leave.

But once you see furry art, you can't go back. All the anime-style porn just seemed generic compared to the 900 different fur patterns, bright colors, scales/fur/feathers, hybrids, and sheer variety e621 had. By the time I'd browsed through all the art under my few favorite tags, I was too hooked to leave. I'd seen enough to realise the site had more of the stuff I was looking for, it just wasn't tagged (yet). And I figured that hell, if I was gonna have to browse randomly through to find more, I might as well tag as I go. so I learned tagging, joined and I honestly love this place. I love how I can so easily jump between the innocently peaceful or the morbidly depraved. There's not many places I can have both. So, I'm at home here (or at least my sense of curiosity is).

Well, I never viewed anthropomorphs as less than human. Y'know, Bugs Bunny, Sonic or Mickey Mouse. After a while I found some old work by Tojyo on a Sonic fan site and soon after discovered Nezumi and their pokemon stash. For me, looking at furry art is no different from hentai.

How do you not see the difference between a brony and a furry!?

Use to imagine stuff with clean art, looked through a lot of clean art all the time until I found a pregnant naked picture of nauta. That led me to VCL where I found art from artist like Lysozyme, Taurin Fox, Foxxfire or Argon-Vile.

It all started off with a general but mostly unnoticed attraction to anthro characters. I realized that I found a lot of these characters really appealing but just figured that everyone did. I specifically remember an episode of Batman the Animated Series where one of the characters was turned into a cat anthro temporarially (who later became the actual Catwoman, iirc). Almost the whole episode was about her being desperate to turn back, and my only thought was 'but that would be awesome. Who WOULDNT want to be half cat' and I pretended to be a cat anthro for the next few weeks. I remember finding the idea vaguely hot, but was a bit too young to really figure it out.

Then I was introduced to a semi-furry website by my at-the-time girlfriend, chackat den I believe it was called. I liked the art and the characters and decided to check it out on my own. I noticed that it had an adults only feature that was fairly easy to turn on. I liked what I found, and followed artist links to VLC, and eventually ended up on FA. This went on for at least a year, probably longer, before I admitted it to my GF, and she showed me that she had an actual FA account with some art that she'd done. I think I've been completely hooked since. Sadly, we broke up not long afterwards.

I took a long break from the fandom though when I started very seriously dating a guy who was openly anti-furry. He and I also didn't end up working out in the end, thank god, but it took me a long time to come back, around 3 years or so. I just recently became active again about a year ago. And there you have it.

@Ko-san I was just trying not to be specific, there are some who really blur the lines and then there are the ones who I would consider different. HOWEVER Cloppers are furrys there is no denying. If you fap to horses your a furry nuff said.
