So, this is a thread where we can all share things that are bothering us, or whatever. I'll start.

Recently, a Reddit moderator lost her job. She was the one who set up most of the AMAs on Reddit. As a result of admins mis-treating moderators, several subreddits have been shut down. This really bothers me, as I've been using Reddit for a year and I have some great memories attached to the site. I'll be really sad if Reddit goes away.

Starting to have an ant problem in my house. I just bought some Raid and I'm fucking ready for some genocide the next time I see a trail.

Fruit flies and ants are nothing. My mother when I was a bit younger, had a HUGE problem with -fleas- in the house. They liked to hide in the basement, where my room was. The day I finally left the house due to the infestation, I had 174 flea bites on me.

Ants are trying to move in here as well. I laid a few traps down this morning since it doesn't look like a full blown migration yet.

Insecticide sprays aren't particularly effective for ant problems because they only kill the ones you happen to see; use poisoned bait instead. Most of the ants you'll see around are foragers whose job it is to find food and bring it back to the nest. Over a couple of days they'll grab up the poisoned bait and bring it back to the nest to share it with the other ants, wiping them all out at once.

I have two flagpoles and only one flagpole mount and I don't want to spend another $40.00 on a set because I'm a cheap ass bastard.

morrowind and how in all the years i've owned the console game of the year version i've only ever played all the way through the main storylines for the expansions. i finished downloading the pc version earlier (your not the only cheap one here joex but in my case thanks to torrenting and emulation i've saved literally thousands, if not tens of thousands of $ over the years) so i should be able to do that now without all the crash related limitations of the console version. i could also try out mods for morrowind now. :)

also, after all these years i found out why my original xbox has seemingly limitless storage space on it's hard drive: microsoft gave it a monstrously huge 8GB when they made it. that's huge for a console released back in 2001 and beats the heck out of any psx/ps2 memory cards.

Some motherfucker tried to tell me smoking bees- that is, just puffing smoke at them to calm them down- is inhumane.

okay, we'll just let them sting us, which both causes terrible pain and kills the stupid bee responsible.

We're having an ant problem in our house, I can't even leave a piece of cake in my room without ants fucking it in less than a hour! but I don't want to kill them.

A fly bitchslapped my face and almost went into my mouth when I was eating cake.

I hope reddit goes away. That website is basically the pre-alpha verison of the Borg from Star Trek. Only the content that the hivemind finds funny or intresting gets to be read, everything else is downvoted and doesn't matter. It promotes hive mentality, and also has crested a pelethora of the worst memes possible (dickbutt).

That website is also a threat to forums worldwide. Instead of making and hosting a forum lazy and cheap fucks just use reddit to host their forums for their games and communities. It's also the only place that the counter strike devs pay any attention to which is why that game is a fucking wreck.

Also the website is missing so many features that make forums a forum. No emotes, no avatars, no images except in the opening post. Everyone else's posts are just a bunch of boring lines of fucking text.

It's not too hard, I just grow tired of doing it every day.

Went to a car show today. I saw some pretty great cars, but my favorite was a rat rod Chevy pickup with a logger theme. The guy had a sawblade sun visor, sawblade running boards and the sides of the bed had two large saws on the sides. The truck was called the Rat's Nest, and had a chrome rat hood ornament. There was an absolutely stunning 1971 Charger 500, too.

Oh, that's just awesome. I am quite jealous. On the subject of vehicles, Rockstar is adding the Coil Brawler, based on the Local Motors Rally Fighter and the Progen T20, based on the McLaren P1 to GTA Online sometime this month. They both look awesome. Too bad my PS3 won't update correctly. :(

Do yourself a favor and get down to the National Museum of the US Air Force in Dayton, OH. They have a V-22 Osprey and are currently in the process of restoring the Memphis Belle. You can also go inside the Boeing 707 that was used as Air Force One. They also have a Convair B-36 Peacemaker and Bockscar, the B-29 Superfortress that dropped the atomic bomb on Nagasaki. I was impressed by the Smithsonian, but the Air Force museum is a lot bigger. It's also a few miles away from an active Air Force base, so you may get to see jets taking off and landing.

haven't been there since I was a stupid kid. They had an aircraft my dad piloted in that museum- the actual one that he flew (that's how goddamn old he is).

You were able to hear it in a radius of 20 Km. A few windshields were broken and I had to replace 2 windows.

I am getting freaky good at identifying cars at a glance. I saw a green car today and took a wild guess that it was a Kaiser Manhattan. I was actually right!

well this should prove entertaining for a while...once they get here in 4-9 days. i ordered the witcher 2, infinite undiscovery (sega and enix making a game together. that alone sounds interesting.), and dead island. i'm sure the first 2 will be good and entertaining for a good while, though i'm a tad wary of that dead island game after i bought escape from dead island (supposedly the worst game of that year. yikes, and it sure was bad. it was about what i'd expect of a game from 1-2 generations BEFORE the 360) a while back. hopefully this one will be MUCH better.

It's a bummer when you're having this perfect dream and then you wake up and remember nothing.

Maybe it's because I'm trying too hard. I'll probably never know...
