I drew one of my first digital pictures, but it was deleted because "It does not meet the minimum quality standards".
What are the minimum standards so I don't do that again?

Could you put it in dropbox or Stash, then link it here so we have an idea of what your art looks like?
It'll be easier to explain with the image.

It seems pretty arbitrary actually.
My guess is that if it looks too much like MS paint it won't make it.

...I'm not sure I want to know what "too much like MS_paint" looks like.

Generally speaking, if your art contains little effort, or very large errors, it may be deleted. These guidelines are generally subjective, but things to watch out for are, if you have large anatomy or perspective mistakes, if you have very simple, ms paint style artwork, or if you are trying to submit the "screenshot" form of 3d artwork (especially second-life or g-mod), you are particularly likely to be hit by the "minimum quality" hammer.
Also is it that time of the month again?

For images of debatable quality, it is sometimes a matter of which admin sees it first, and whether or not they personally like the subject matter.
There have been cases where not all images from the same set are approved/denied due to differing opinions of admins.
Example: post #654002 was approved by one admin, but the rest of the set was denied by another.

Oh... well, in that case I think it speaks for itself. The character's nothing but a black outline. If it had some definition, then the pic would be alright.

As a general rule for these sorts of things, if you have to ask, it's probably not up to standard.
