Incest seems to be a pretty common trend amongst ponies in Equestria. Maybe it's a cultural thing, not concerned with matters of kinship regarding love and romance. Maybe it's just that everypony is sex crazy and doesn't care where they get dick or what hole they're pounding. Maybe it's some bizarre god outside their realm manipulating their world for the benefit of himself and his beloved followers. Who knows?
