    Nothing feels as good as when the one who isn't broken, beaten, and horrified at what they see around them breaks the shit streak and explodes in radiant light, bolstering the rest of your team.

    I love this story the most of all.

    There's a boss in the Cove of Darkest Dungeon called the Drowned Crew (seen here), who are basically exactly what they sound like. Their power move is the Anchorman, who has an extremely cursed anchor he entraps people with, dragging them forward and completely immobilizing them while inflicting big fuckin' stress damage. Hit enough stress, a character hits the breaking point.

    Most of the time, characters at 100 stress will become Afflicted, and fall into mental despair that starts dragging the party down with it. But sometimes, they find the will inside them. Those times, they become Virtuous, and if the Anchorman attempts to snare them again, they fling it off immediately, destroying the entire fight's mechanics and dooming the Drowned Crew.

    NOTHING WILL BREAK ME.
