On the Hunt

This foxy boy is on the hunt, but you best be careful- it's not a meal he's hunting for, and he seems to have his eye on you.

('cause once in a while it's nice to see a fox who looks ready to do the rapin' instead of being the bitch xD)

Just another technique I wanted to try for doing fur. I think I like this one the most. I made a silly lazy mistake and used pencil for the shading in the fur, probably should have used a black coloured pencil or maybe a dark brown/bluish colour for it instead, but I wasn't in the mood. xD Just as a crappy experiment, I think this turned out pretty nice.

Also, considered doing a background for it, but had no idea what I wanted to do with it, as you can see, so I just sorta sloshed some paint all over the place. I really wanna learn to do backgrounds but there's so much to learn for them I tend to overload and learn nothing instead.

I think I'm gonna have to go back and look at the basics... learn to draw a tree. Then a rock. This, that, and the other thing. Etc. One at a time, or i'll never get anywhere.

But whatever, for now, enjoy my doodle.
