Description
Gestal's stew is unbearable to anyone but a bear, so packed full of tough, cheap meat and spinach leaves, Jacks could spend an hour picking her teeth and not be finished.
Being a beastperson, Gestal needs more food than the average human, thus at least providing Jacks the luxury of stuffing herself full any time a new batch is made, but all the extra ingredients cost a pretty penny, and lugging around a giant kettle is only slowing them down.
"I'll toss it in the river when she's not looking. See if we can't get this crap pressed into jerky or somethin'." Jacks thinks every time they stop to cook. Even she would not be so cruel as to actually do such a thing, but it won't stop her from daydreaming.
