This is based off of an episode of The Twilight Zone, where supposedly friendly aliens come to earth and let humans take spaceship rides to their home planet.

The first alien that talked with the humans and stuff dropped a book and they decoded that it says "To Serve Man."
(At the end of the episode, after a main character is forced into a spaceship right after he's told it's a cookbook.)
