Vulpes is a genus, Canine is a family.

Wrong, Canine and Vulpine are both a genus. Canidae is the family, which yes, Foxes are a part of, but they are not canines, they are vulpines.

Vulpine is an adjective, not a noun.

That's beside the point. Foxes are vulpines of the canidae family, not a canine. Your household pet is a canine, your forest dwelling wolves are canines, but foxes are not canines, more of a cousin really.

  • Does she have orange fur or orange skin? The art style of the artist conveys skin more so than fur. Nonetheless, still a sultry Fox lady.
