    or not.
    prolly not

Yup, this mess of a post deserves a down vote. You're welcome. Proofread and make sense next time.

  • I applaud Nick throughout this comic so far aside from the "kill our baby for your career" statement which was kinda direct in an indecent way despite being correct with the situation.

    M. Night Shyamalan would be proud.

Really well drawn, emotional as fug; I'm thinking I found yet another artist to follow.

Ikr - I loved Borba's stuff even before this comic (whether it was Night Howler's Effect, Hopps Family Ties, or ZPD's Party Night), but this, I think I'll come back multiple times to read each page once the series is complete, to try and extract every bit of detail I can from it, as well as experiencing it in one go rather than waiting for each page update. I definitely appreciate the telling of a mature story like this using characters that we're all familiar with (and who most of us love) that feels quite realistic, were there ever a situation like this to happen in the movie.

  • She can't really argue it, can she? He's already made his point, he wants to win this argument, not for argument's sake but for the sake of a child they haven't had yet but one he still loves dearly.

Plenty of people have a sense of humor. It's just your post was so horribly done and unfunny that no one thought it was funny. And the whole "vore" thing doesn't fit with the lore of the movie at all.

So...here are two tips. One...actually learn to post a comment that makes sense and two...actually know the topic you are talking about properly before making poor and incorrect comments on them for that sake of trying to be funny.

  • my only real "issue" with this comic is that judy's primary reason for not wanting to have the kid is her career. Judy wanted to be a cop very badly. That's true but that only mattered to her because as a cop she could help people and make the world a better and safer place. If her primary fear was the baby(s) wouldn't live long or well or that she wouldn't survive the pregnancy, then it would feel more like she has a decent argument.

I do believe women should have the choice, but right here i side with Nick.

Maybe you forgot to even set it up as a proper joke. Even so, this is a serious comic with a serious tone, with a safe rating. Your "joke" was immensely inappropriate for the post. I suggest you find out the demograph you're posting at before you try out jokes like that.

Also, just don't blame others for your slipping up. Not cool, man.

  • Whaddaya think, folks? Will Nick be able to talk Judy into having their baby? Or can he talk for a hundred years, but her choice is final?

i don't think they should make a snap decision now, they really need to go talk with a doctor before they make any decision, it would quell judy's fears, or at least most of them. there have been hybrids before, at least with size differences, so they'd be able to tell if the size would be an issue, and even be able to check health issues for judy and the baby. it won't solve everything, but it'd be better than them blindly making guesses, or self doctoring (webMD champs).

  • why does conversation seem to annoy people? i'm happy to see people openly talking about stuff and not attacking each other about it. god forbid people actually expand their views by talking with other people about things.

  • hmmm...dont know...this seems like guilt tripping or something like that into getting what he wants...i mean cmon, if she REALLY doesnt want it then what can you possibly do about it? Force her to do otherwise? Agh...yknow what, whatever comes comes i guess.

  • Yeah, give up your career and dreams and soothe my ego and only find fulfillment vicariously through offspring.

Or, y'know, have an abortion and have kids later when you've accomplished more of what you want to do and can provide a stable home life.

Wanting to continue a career is a perfectly valid reason to end a pregnancy. Every argument I hear against abortion is ultimately patriarchal or religious bullshit.

  • YEAH! and while our baby is at it, he/she will go on to be president, create world peace, invent an infinite energy machine, perfect interstellar travel, and cure aids and cancer too! I mean he/she might also end up being a serial killer, a cult leader, a terrorist, or start world war 3, 4, and 5.

BUT YA KNOW, "WHAT IF" AMIRIGHT??????

Thank you for inserting some reason into these discussions. Judy has given several exceptional reasons for not wanting to continue the pregnancy, some of them including her health. Nick has:

    • cut her off,
    • engaged in histrionics,
    • mansplained,
    • denied Judy the opportunity to discuss the issue like adults,
    • committed multiple Appeal to Emotion logical fallacies, and
    • is now walking out to cut her off or force capitulation.

Judy shouldn't have punched him, but in terms of having a fair, adult conversation, Nick is failing.

God, now there's two Feminazis involved here... I don't argue that she has the choice, but what she fails to acknowledge and what you Feminazi trash always forget is the consequences. EVERYTHING HAS A FUCKING ECHO! The immediate consequence of her telling him "I don't want to have a family with you" is that he leaves her. And he has every right to! She's disregarding his feelings on the matter! Just like you Feminazi trash disregard other people's thoughts and opinions when they don't line up with the tripe you spout!

Surprise -- humanoids under duress are prone to acting rashly and may not be able to parse their emotional output in a way that may be considered entirely rational or appropriate.

    It's called "having emotions," automaton.

I'm not an automaton. Part of being a grown-up is learning to fight fairly, especially with your mate.

I feel with your phrasing and choice of words, you don't fully grasp the enormity of the context that would be involved.

    It's not

"hey, do you want chicken for dinner?" "Nah I was thinking chinese."

    It's

"hey, are you ready to irrevocably change your life one way or another, and neither of us has a 'right' answer, but one involves my potential child never getting a chance to live"

That's not the thing you "fight fairly" over, because it's not the kind of question that's "fair" to ask.

Anyone who uses the term "Feminazi" is someone who's hatred I gladly accept. Indeed, I revel in it. Fuck the patriarchy, fuck peasant superstition, and death to fascists.

There is no such thing as patriarchy! You're the superstitious one for believing there is! You wish for death to fascists? Thank you for wishing death upon yourself. You are doing what every Feminazi does and projecting your evil onto others. I am an Egalitarian, equal rights for everyone. But I have a functional brain, so I don't buy that "Feminism means equality" argument your people spout off...

How not to get people to agree with you : Spastically rant and vomit up anti-male pseudofeminist buzzwords and random insults.

Holy shit, amigo, "fascists." You don't even know what that word means if you're voicing your opinion on it. Take a chillpill - take the whole damn bottle. There are places in this world where people who prattle on like you are tied up and lit on fire with a tire full of gasoline around their necks.

    I think you'll be fine.
