    Both wrong, foxes dont bristle up like cats do, a fox would whack its tail, or will just stand high ears and tail infront of the object of interest.

    But we are not talking about real animals, i really like the combination of bushed up tail (nervousness) and the tail wrapping around Judy (love), you will see the second especially on cats that really love their fellow humans

    Also you can see that Nick in this case is being extremely fair and... I am unable to find a word to describe it properly...

    He is making clear his intentions, but he is not pushing things much further than that. Instead, leaning back, keeping light physical contact, eye contact and more signs of respect but openness.
