April 10th: The bill has been vetoed!
April 2nd: The politicians in Arizona are about to sign into law a bill that would mandate sites like e621 to either impose age verification on all users or be at a risk of lawsuits. Such system would be required to go through third party vendors, who in turn must go through a government database to verify every user's age. This is not only a major violation of privacy, but it also opens up a very real danger of identity theft through phishing schemes and other methods, not to mention that we would not be able to control any of that information to make sure it is permanently deleted after age verification is complete.
Unfortunately, Arizona is the state out of which e621 operates, which means that this law will almost certainly affect us if it is to pass. If want to help us ensure that this site can continue to serve you without being required to know who you are, please ask the Arizona governor to veto this bill.
Please, help us get the word out by letting others know about this issue.

I'm not an artist, and I haven't critiqued a lot of artists, and I've found that people who have practice with those sorts of things have a *lot* of insights that I can't come close to noticing on my own. What I'm going to say is mostly long-shot guesses that might be arbitrarily far from being actually correct.
This picture seems to be... inconsistent about its level of description? If that makes sense. Like, take those teeth. On the one hand, they're just a row of vaguely-rectangley arcs, on the other hand, they're shaded. I see plenty of realistic teeth on e621 and I like them, and I see plenty of teeth so toony that they're literally just a white arc, and I like those, too. And I like a lot of teeth that are somewhere in between. But this guy's teeth just don't make sense to me. They remind me of baleen.
The floating eyebrows also kinda don't really sit well with me. Although it might just be that I don't see that style very often.
Anatomy-wise, well, this is again something that someone who actually draws might actually be able to say something meaningful about. All that I can say is that for whatever reason, this doesn't look like a pony to me, it looks somehow dog-like. I think maybe the hind leg connects to the body wrong? As in, it should keep thickening toward the body, so there's room for... *checks google for anatomy*... the lateral femoral fascia?
I wish I could help you more, because I think I *could* like your work, but right now I don't and I'm having a hell of a time trying to put into words why. But there's probably plenty of places where you could ask for advice from people who actually do know how art works, so maybe you could try somewhere like thta.
