    I never got that implication. the thing with trace and flora is a abnormality, its been stated before that the two species can't reproduce together and that they are the first (if even that considering we haven't seen the baby).
    I haven't reread the comic in its entirety for a while so take my word with salt, since salt is tasty.

    Its happened before the character Raine is a half Keidren. Alibet her father is a keidran who mastered shape shifting she still came out half.
