  • Just an FYI, dunkleosteus was it's own species, it was not in the same family as fish or sharks. They died out way back , millions of years ago, before the dinosaurs I think, there is not a living example today.

  • Dunkleosteus was a fish. "Fish" as a group includes bony fish,cartilaginous fish(sharks, rays, etc.), and placoderms, the group Dunkleosteus belonged to.
