  • A year ago, I was there. All for some girl I was in love with in high school. I didn't know it at the time but I blew my chance cause I moved away. Now that the times are gone, thats all I ever think about. life changes and she moved on from me. Because i didn't speak up, were just friends that never talk anymore. So I used to hold a gun in my hand at night and think about my mistake. Sometimes I try to drink myself to death, but I have a strong tolerance to alcohol, so I end up just having a nasty hangover the next morning.

Look, my advice to you is that you will invest a lot of thoughts and feelings into something because as humans, we are psychologically wired to do so. Some people will care more about one thing more than/opposed to the next person. But the purpose of it all isn't to kill you. It's to teach you. Life is a hard lesson, but you must find a balance and live in it. It took me a year to accept that my problems shouldn't control my life, present or future. So, I work hard to become an officer, because there are many people like you who need help, and I can do something for them. I'd rather be proud of what I do for others than loathe in my own misery.

Whatever you do from this point, see someone. talk to family, friends, psychiatrists, AA (if it's an addiction). A typical recovery takes 6 months. Remember that the world is here for you.

Jesus, go see a psychiatrist please. Noone needs to feel that way, they can really help.

You can hope they can help.

You'd be wrong, far too many times.

To the Artist who composed this picture?

Everyone needs to find something in their life that makes it worth living and fighting for. No one outside of your life can dictate what that may or may not be.
It is really up to you to find purpose in living.

I hope you're feeling better. You have an amazing Talent in your art and eliciting emotions in those who see it. Please continue sharing more with the rest of us!

The artist just drew it as my commission. I am the one having these thoughts

  • Great depiction of one's own demons. We truly are our harshest judges, without knowing the entire world has forgiven us already, all but ourselves.

  • I hate mirrors....they show the species I hate the most, staring back at me with the body I can't stand to look at. I can relate so much to this in every possible way. The problem is that I'm too afraid to do it.

I’m on disability with the VA. Been in therapy ten years. My MDD (major depressive disorder) is chemical-based. It’s an Imbalance and ptsd linked. There is no “help”. I just learn to endure. “Suicidal ideation” is my every day.

  • It's beautiful. What a wonderful piece of work.
I've always wanted something like this but I lack the funds. I can see it, so clearly in my head. I can see every last droplet of blood, every single grain of wood on the paneling of the wall. It drives me crazy how clear of an image it is, and how I'll never be able to render this image onto paper as clearly as I see it in my mind.
It's amazing how clearly we can see the darkest things in our minds, yet how difficult it can be to even attempt to walk towards the light, no matter how dark it gets, we stay put.

It's a wonderful piece, if I were you I'd frame it. To remind me of what I'm fighting every single day.
