  • My question is if these anthro fish still use their gills as a breathing apparatus, or if they use lungs to breathe? If its the former, would this have the same effect on them that someone cunning directly into one of our lungs would have on us? Also, how would they go about de-gunking it? I demand answers!

Gills use liquid (well, water) so it's not like the stuff is going in someone's lungs, as it works with air. So it's pretty much they breath the cum itself (trying to extract the oxygen from it) which we don't really have a close analogy with lungs. It would like to inhale some strange gas mixture for something with lungs.
This is why it is interesting you can't really determine the feeling.

Cum doesn't contain oxygen like water does. Fish can't just swim in whatever liquid happens to be nearby because it wont allow them to get the oxygen they need, they would then suffocate. It would be perfectly analogous to a human that decided to only breathe helium for a short time. While helium isn't directly poisonous, it also isn't air and you will suffocate if that's the only thing you're breathing.
