If I can complain though, all of the wispons except Burst are total shit, and they should have implemented a much more open whispon system then what they ended up doing.

acutally, that's a fan name. He's mostly known as the rookie, avatar, custom character, or custom hero

The official name Sega gave him was Buddy the Wolf, if memory serves.

just checked and apaprently offical sources say that it is a custom character whom is to bear no actual name in the final iteration of the game.
