I don't know where you get all that from. From what I can recall, incest isn't really anything new in live action or fictional pornography. Some people just like to fantasise about things that are seen as taboos and the Internet allows that to desire to flourish. I wouldn't say that artists that create incest-based content go out of their way to create higher quality work, due to the fetish. In terms of MLP stuff, it's always been pretty prominent (particularly with these two).

I don't think that it's necessarily pushed out as it's a niche market, but there's nothing "natural" about it, as pornography and fetishes are a human concept only. In a nutshell, the explicit content community in the MLP fan base find it entertaining to pair up related characters. This might be because their taste in a show made for a young audience is already unorthodox and they want to see how far they can take it.

I can't really explain why to be honest. It's just a good bit of porn.
