    As a weapon? Why not? I think I would give that as a weapon to my lion girl character who uses jabs and kicks. Much longer than her natural claws and provide a bit of protection too. She's not going to be drinking a cup of tea with those gloves or anything. She'd spill! But if someone who wanted to fight (other than guns) she'd be better off with those than bare handed.
