Yinglet shellteeth are actually grown from two neighboring tooth-pits, which fuse together into a single tooth after they grow past the gum line.

    It makes sense. Given the original usage of the teeth . They would experience a fair amount of wear and tear so would have to grow continuously over tyhe yinglets life (like many rodents) or be shed and regrown regularly, like a sharks, gators and crocs.

    Was just about to make a comment like that. Logic for a fantasy species is nice, isn't it?
    And I only just noticed that your comment is 4 years old. Assuming this series didn't just STOP out of nowhere, I've probably got DAYS of reading ahead of me! Yay!
    Did this ever get its own comic book? I don't think I've seen this anywhere else before, and it doesn't seem to be based on anything as a fan comic would be. If it is, I'd like to get a copy.
