Western Basitin are a warrior people that are bound by honor to follow orders and rules of their society and value strength, courage and prowess in battle over everything.

-and every male of that people got frightened beyond all belief at the thought of getting *ahem* 'Ade-laid'.

Not judging, I like having reproductive capabilities as well. Well, that, and breathing. Breathing is good too.

i wouldn't run, i'll gladly have my body break by her....sure shes strong enough to send me to the nearest ER (or possibly kill me) but i don't care.....just saying.

Actually it's the Eastern Basitins that are complete sticklers for the rules and discipline. The Western Basitins are a little more free spirited (look to Cathleen Keiser for reference). King Adelaide is an Eastern Basitin, but considering her sheer size and sudden desire to have another child, even the Western Basitins didn't feel safe.

Trivia on the side:
Eastern and Western Basitins were almost constantly at war with each other for eons which is one of the reasons they have become such a strong warrior people. They're experiencing a time of peace at the moment, but they still can't stand each other for the most part.
