  • They DO seem to be spending a lot more time together...is this the first step toward a more intimate relationship? (I hope so). Does look like that ear-notch is a permanent thing...

  • Don't be giving them shit. What are the odds of finding your own species in a world of anthros? You gotta take what you can get.

While it seems less species and more body structure related (you know because it would seem like someone in our world dating an animal of equal intelligence to humans with full speech powers) I can't help but agree.

In a world of a thousand shapes why would it be taboo for two unusual but nonetheless equally unique shapes forming together?

  • I know my interpretation is wrong, but it looks like blackbird wanted to flirt with Addy while blackcat was all like 'God damn it, even a bird can get a guy while I can't!'

It seems like every anthro has a bird companion where they live, maybe that's the reason for all the fuss

  • looks like damn near everyone has an animal companion.
is it really that weird for a relationship to start?

  • Nice touch with the border colors changing to help us associate which emotions to feel in the panels. It's already conveyed quite well with the excellent expressions/reactions, but colors have a strange effects on people's mood, plus I'm just wondering if I haven't noticed it until now.

Also our Panther lady's surprisingly lacking a feathered friend compared to everyone else. Probably a good enough reason to explain her grimace towards their relationship as any...

(maybe she already ate her Tweety bird?)

  • Just did a quick glance though the comic. And the only other character we see without a feathered friend is the mail-bird Simon who is a bird himself.

Simon might be the panther's bird. Or maybe I overthought this.

  • God, yet another reason I want a sequel, the world is so damn unique, there's no anthropometric birds, just normal ones, but most if not all have some form of friendship or work partner relationship etc with another animal. There really is nothing else like this comic.

  • So I assume birbs in this world are similar to Palicoes in Monster Hunter? Because you're with them all the time, most have them, but being in a relationship is weird with them. Got it
