I uploaded a second time because I thought this was going to get deleted because it was a smaller file size by about 100kb. I know it's a stupid reason, but I believe I had a post deleted for that exact reason.

However I do feel like the reason has been something else and you simply came mistakingly into conclusion that the reason for that was the filesize.

Just as PSA, artist posts in both FA and Inkbunny, however inkbunny does optimize the files, resulting lower filesize and breaks e621 dublicate detector. We do still consider inkbunny versions to be the same, so both files are handled identical and not inferior/superior so first upload stays, we don't prefer one version over another.

It could have been a different reason. The example I'm thinking about happened years ago, and I can't remember the exact picture. I just remembered something about file size being the issue.
