Does the rule mean crimes in the nation this site is registered in? Cause there are a lot of places in the world that dont have written laws on bestiality. My US state didnt even have one until some years ago when a guy died from being impaled by a horse.

The admins permabanned at least 15 people for bestiality so far, so probably yes.

It's always been a rule. They probably decided to start cracking down on it much more recently, probably in response to something.

That being said, good to know I have even less reason to feel welcome here now.

But... you had been an admin here. Surely you wouldn't become one unless you had been on very good terms with the rest of the staff. You had a falling out with them or something?

We don't ban people for jokes. There is a difference between jokes and straight up stating someone fucked their pet dog.
As long as it's clear something is a joke be respectful to others but go nuts. But if you state you had sexual relations with your animals we'll ban you because that's illegal where the server is hosted.

Also, every single one of our rules is "invented", that's how writing rules works. We can't just copy scientific laws in there and hope people will know that they should treat each other respectfully.

Also, that rule's been around pretty much as long as the site has. If you search for bestiality in the records rather than "blocked:see records" you'll see a lot more results.

I knew that. But I was simply baffled by the retroactive permabans. I mean seriously, what will come next? You will retroactively permaban everyone who has ever posted paid/DNP content, even unknowingly? Because technically it's like spreading warez, which is a crime, too.

You might have known that, but your original post made it sound like we made up this rule recently and have been combing through old comments to find people who violated the rules before the rule existed. And that's pretty misleading.

What you're talking about is people who's initial records--some several years ago-- were "extended' into permanent bans.

For that, I don't actually have an explanation, honestly. I don't know. I'm sure that there *is* a good reason though.
