There's gotta be some interesting dynamics going on with their upper teeth to not only hide them that well, but for them to appear that small when the mouth is closed.
There's clearly some sort of moving skin... Flap, for lack of a better term, but it seems they would still have some fairly nasty looking fangs even with that hiding them.
