Even weirder is that Rouge goes from having 3 fingers to 4 to back to 3. Logic would say the pinky is being covered in some frames but it really looks like she just has 3 fingers.

That would make sense except she's asking "you've done there?" as a question, which is a less natural saying than the expected "you done there?" that Diives was no doubt going for.

While I do enjoy Diives's work it would really behoove him to have someone proofread his content before sending it out, especially if English isn't his first language.

Adding a question mark to a sentence doesn't strictly have to make it a interrogative question, especially in a medium like comics or cartoons.

I think Shitsandgiggles is probably leaning closer to the artist's intent by having Amy say a contraction of "You have done there?", not meant as a question, but more likely a rhetorical question and possibly an exclamation as Amy is probably very aware that Rouge sun-creamed her arse already.

"You done there?" is a widely recognized and simple phase that would have been the most appropriate for this situation and it was simply misworded here. Going out of your way to alleviate legitimate criticism or advice to the artist is only doing them a disservice.

My original point still stands, a little bit of proofreading beforehand solves all these issues.

I mean why have any writing at all if it's not going to given the same amount of effort as the drawing, smut or not. In every case it should help elevate the overall picture not distract from it.

All I'm saying is that if Diives does have legitimate issues understanding some aspects of English lexicon (perhaps not being a native English speaker) then getting someone to proofread I feel would really help him out that's all. This goes for a lot of other artists too.

No you're just reading too much into it. "You've done there?" Is tantamount to asking why you're doing a spot you've already done. It's dialogue and virtually no one actually speaks without slang and/or shortening words.

Another way to look at is imagining Amy say “You’ve done there” in a tone that sounds like she’s wondering why that rose is doing that same exact spot.
