She kinda reminds me of my dad. He's an insanely devoted Mormon and when prophecies didn't come true he usually blamed it on me for not being righteous enough.

The art is all extremely good, as always, but the panel layout in this page seems like it would be confusing. Down-(up-right)-down-(up-right)-down isn't a conventional reading order and there aren't adequate visual "leads" drawing the reader's eye in the right directions.

I think she expected that it would rain at least it makes the most sense in this desert oasis scenario ... still curious to see where this is going maybe they just need to try it again or maybe she have to do all the things in the book not only some parts of it XD

See the thing about prophecy and rushing to fulfill/prevent them is that doing so tends to lead to the exact opposite result.

They tend to favor the spirit of their prediction over the wording.

In this instance she was in such a hurry to fulfill it that she overlooked what the point of the prophecy might have been. A lock that seeks to break itself open is a lock of no use to anyone.

So it might be a test of his will as much as her willing to let another to take on a burden

Yeah, I think you're father was quite unrealistic with his faith. Any good religious person knows that miracles don't usually happen overnight. Also, blaming someone else for not being 'righteous' enough. That is TOTALLY a good way to convince people to believe what you do. At least Zaphira doesn't seem like the "CUT OFF THEIR HEADS", sort of ruler.
