Feb 26th:A new bill in Arizona is making its way through the Senate that would force sites like e621 to implement mandatory age verification for all users—or face potential lawsuits. This system would require third-party vendors to verify every user’s age through a government database. Not only is this a massive violation of privacy, but it also introduces serious risks, including identity theft through phishing schemes and other malicious methods. Worse still, we would have no control over ensuring that user data is permanently deleted after verification.

Since e621 operates out of Arizona, this law would almost certainly impact us if it passes. If you want to help ensure that we can continue serving you without being forced to collect personal information, we urge you to contact Arizona’s senators and ask them to vote NO on this bill.

Please help spread the word about this issue and encourage others to take action.

Colour test.

Nothing to see here folks... just a very quick sketch so I could slap some colours onto it. I've decided a few things about how I'ma start drawing. One of which being it's time to move back to real watercolour paper, I think. I believe I've found a way I can reliably stretch it out to work on without it all warping up. I don't have it ready at the moment, which is why this picture doesn't have a background wash and got a little warped up, but after I get back from town tomorrow I should be good to go.

But yes, for now I've got a quick colour test on some real paper. To put into perspective how little I cared about the drawing part of this picture- a decent sketch can sometimes take me a couple of hours, to iron out all the issues that are bothering me. This was drawn in literally just a couple of minutes. I see everything that's wrong with it, so don't feel you need to point any of them out. I didn't care and just ignored them all so I could quickly have something to put some colour on. :P

As far as the colours go... not bad, I guess. The method for doing characters is more or less unchanged, it's the background stuff that the watercolour paper will make the biggest difference with.

But, that'll have to wait until tomorrow. So for now, enjoy! Or don't, 'cause it's awful. Whatevs.
