"An Arkkins eyes appear a noticeable reddish orange when seen through a recording or image, however to meet an individual eye to eye is another experience entirely. When first meeting an arkkin in person, after you notice the stark blue and often other bright colors and patterns, the creature might—after noticing your presence— naturally look down to greet your gaze with hers or his. This is when many are greeted with a baffling and slightly uneasy visual, as a normal individual would bare witness to what can only be described as a "New color"."
