The Arkkin is for the most part grounded in a reality we can understand, a creature of flesh that hungers, thirsts and needs the same as any earthly creation. the Arkkin however seems to exist between this familiar space and a place beyond common measurement. one need only witness the environment when these creatures "take hold" for as far as the limbs might reach, an Arkkins influence does not end at the tips of it's claws. to what extent this influence reaches is not known, nor by observers or the Arkkins themselves. one needs to simply witness as the creature becomes "ethereal" as if to vanish partially yet maintain some sort of ineffable form. One could then bare witness to the dichotomy of its physical and metaphysical form.
