I know that he won't like the outcome and how reality works and he will think that it won't be fair.
He needs to understand that the reality is much different and much difficult than it seems, He is still young, doesn't understand and know how the real-life work.
Many young kids like Alex are mostly thinking of fun stuff, games, sweets, candy..etc, all the fun and sweet stuff.
Later as they grow will begin to think about getting a job so they have a way of income in order to buy themselves food...supplies and such, so they could survive, rent a house or something similar.
Life might seem easy as a game but... Life is just a wolf in sheep's clothing, meaning... is much difficult than it might seem, life could be a pain in the ass sometimes.
