Description
"Over here..." the human general leads him to a chamber deep beneath the human castle. The dragon responds in an uncomfortable grunts.
The dragon is not their prisoner. He is the strongest dragon knight of the entire dragon kingdom. His lead never be disappointed and guard their kingdom for thousand of years from any invader. However, the current king decided to stop warring against all other kingdoms, specially the human kingdom, and proposed a peace treaty. Of course, he was against it, but it seems that most dragons in his kingdom are exhausted with the war that took almost every week. Finally, he gave up in their sake. However, the price is a bit hard for him. The other kingdoms agreed to ceasefire, but in exchange, they want HIM to be in ther custody for a week, just for making sure that they are not planning anything. Again, the dragon was against it, but looking at his fellow comrades' pleas... he could not say no and unwillingly agreed. After that, he was marched through his kingdom to the human kingdom, stripped naked and fully cuffed as they said it would be dangerous if he actually betraying them and attack them from inside. The dragon did not want to talk further, so he just follow the procedure as long as his kingdom is satisfied with this... treaty.
And here he is, arrived in his place for the next week. A round dim room with only some kind of metal device on the middle, perfect for restraining any big fella like him. He already known it.
"...is there any chance that you can just keep me in a jail or something enough for me?" the dragon asks uncomfortably.
The general shakes his head. "No, we cannot. You are still a threat. Do not worry, we will try to keep it civil while you are on it."
The dragon only grunts. He could just spit fire and burn this place to ashes alone, but for the shake of his comrades... well, this cannot be dodged. "Fine. Just make sure you will not make me angry."
The general ignores it. He then commands his peers to do the bindings for him. First, they locks his wings, disabling him from spreading it open. It does not matter much for the dragon, just that he feels a bit uncomfortable. Next, they unbuckled his cuffs and helped him to position himself on the restraints. The dragon hesitantly does that, but he keeps thinking about how his kingdom would be with his sacrifice... a peaceful times that they seek. He must be improved his mood for too long that when he snapped back to reality, his body parts are all ready locked in the restraints. Not only they locked his wrists and ankles, they also locked his neck in the same line with his arms, his tail, and his waits, completely keeping him still. While he was observing the locks, he is surprised with the sudden shove inside his mouth. Something rubbery-like but is very solid, keeping his mouth open. He muffled in protest, but the human general calmly tells him it is a countermeasure if he wildly pull his fire breath out. The dragon wants to shout that he is not that kind of dragon, but with his mouth gagged, he doubts that they would understand it. Next, they further locked the restraints with some nails and also bind his feet so that he cannot let it lay down without reason. After plenty of things, finally they finished. A big and mighty dragon is all restrained up, gagged, and is in their custody now.
"Alright, Draggy. Can you test it? We cannot afford you to break free before the agreed time," the general asks the dragon.
The dragon only grunts in response, but it is what he wants. He thinks that human restraints would never hold him, no matter what. He tests it with only a portion of his strength, then most, and finally all of it. He tries to pull them, struggling and thrashing as much as possible, but they are strangely intact without even any slight damage. He keeps struggling until he feels numb. He does not want to admit that he is trapped, but he cannot prove that he can break free either. He only grunts in response, like telling them that they are happy now that he is trapped for sure.
The general catches it, and he gets just infront of the dragon. "Glad the restraints work. We made it from a mix of magical essence of the dragons and some sacred crystals. We never thought it would work, but look at you now... harmless and helpless..."
The dragon does not like his tone, but he is stuck anyway... all he could do is grunting and breathes hot air from his nose.
"...now that we are sure that you will not get in our way," the general suddenly changes his voice to more malevolent, cunning voice, "Forward! March through the dragon's kingdom now! Tell all the kingdom to attack them at once!"
The dragon was stunned. His eyes open wide and probably his mouth too, if he is not gagged. "Mmpht!? Bbthh whh hhvv mhh mmffhhl!?" the dragon demands an explanation.
"Oh, I am sorry, but I think we are going to abandon the treaty," he says, "The reason why that kingdom is not fallen yet is because of you. Now we have you, we have no more worries. I thank you, since if you were not agreeing to be restrained here... they would never fall." the general bows, but rather in disdain for the dragon. "Now, if you excuse me, I have some war to attend. Do not worry, we will have something to do to you."
At this point, his thought was true. He struggles very hard, using all of his mighty strength to break free and destroy them. He tries to blow the fire from his mouth to burn them to ashes, but the ball somehow is fireproof, strong enough to keep his mouth open but it can't let his fire out. His fingers are flailing around, wanting to grab the general's collar up but his arms are locked tight. He roars in frustation. He follows the general, who walks out from the room with his soldier.
But before the general is out from his sight, he caught the glimpse of the general smiling maliciously to him as he has defeat one mighty dragon as him with trickery. He heard the door closed and locked, leaving the despreate dragon in his sealed fate that he denies. The fate that his comrades would never be going to find him here, and that he would never leave this place. Forever.
