  • I love how whenever there's polyamory between the two foxes and two bunnies here, everybody loves it, but if there's polyamory (or cockoldry) with literally anybody else, people on this site lose their fucking minds.

    It's kind of fascinating! :P

The face she made while saying "tie me" damn that is the good shit right there.

It was cute then I re-read the story and realized I missed that they were doing anal and fox (actually canid) biology doesn't work that way.

"Tying" is a two part process and means that Nick's knot inflates and Skye's vaginal sphincter clamps down on it making them inseparable until things calm down. During anal, it's just Nick's knot so if Skye can stretch to take it in, she can stretch for it to come out.

Same thing thing applies to all those stories/artwork featuring Nick/Judy having vaginal sex with "knotting". If she can stretch to take the knot, then they aren't inseparably "tied" because she can stretch for it to come out. Nothing is locking them together.

    Fantasy is fun, though.

Because writers have consistently portrayed these four to be kind, caring and equitable as individuals, and close, comfy friends as a group. There are no bad feelings when it's with these four, and everything seems to be above-board amongst them.

To add onto this, most polyamory stories that don't include these four tend to follow two main set ups. It's either:

Fan character gets to have one of them and the other of the pair gets actively belittled and/or sidelined, just to fill their desire to have person A and say person B is still there to appease collective fan canon, or...

Fan character gets involved with one of them in order to force conflict and drama between the pairing, and thus reducing their relationship to fragile and disposable.

In either case, the core conflict isn't so much the fact that a third or fan character gets involved, it's the fact that it portrays their relationship as largely irrelevant to the situation and each other. Got a bunny wiggling her tail? Nick's all about that, any bunny hole is a good one. Got some canine or lupine dick? Judy Hopps ain't just hopping down the streets. And while porn is porn, kinks are kinky, and fetishes will be what they are, when you try to have a story with characters like this, if you want to have story be prominent, you need to take into account all aspects that exist with pre-existing characters beyond their artistic design.

But that's my take and thought on the matter.
