An unusual walk
Fridge had officially adopted Paradox during the transition to the Aether corporation takeover of the shelter. This suited the both of them just fine, and not just for their extra curricular activities.
Fridge frequently would take walks along the shoreline not far from his home. In between seasons, it would be rather vacant when not hosting a carnival or beach party, so he often had the entire strip to himself.
One evening after work, he decided to walk the strip with Paradox. Just silently bonding in the night. However, something made it's self apparent and was... getting closer.
Whatever it was, it was hard to look at. it was there, but it wasn't. it was moving, yet remaining still. Fridge couldn't get a proper feel for what, if any, intentions this thing had, though Paradox jumped to his defense.
However, he remembered nothing after that.
He only awoke later, the sky fully dark and Paradox back in her ball. What happened? Did that happen?
He didn't know and just took Paradox's ball and returned home, completely puzzled as to how he missed two hours.
