Charts of the universe
Artist's Description:
"The albinos are legendary about many a great things. One of them being their nigh obsession with the stars and the moon. One fun thing about this was that each child got their very own star "drawing". When a child was born a drawing was made by connecting some of the stars which were visible in the sky that night and that drawing would be as important to them as their very own name. Each of these drawings were unique to each person and the subjects would vary from plants, to animals, to concepts and to stars themselves. Then on each of their birthday this drawing would be replicated by their relatives and held on display. Sometimes, of course, some would be born under stormy skies and the stars would not be visible at all, and in these circumstances they would be named after Jyrin, the dragon of storms and their drawing would instead be drawn based off of the clouds that hang above.
The albinos went through great strains to haul these pale rocks to their ritual sites, especially favored because they were easy to carve and also easy to see the carvings on them under the pale moonlight. Even better, under moonlight the small crystal formations in these rocks would reflects light as if there were dozens of tiny diamonds in them. Anyway, these rocks would be used for many purposes, but these rocks here, were probably charts of the universe and with the right knowledge and tools, one could perhaps peer into the wonderful depths of the sky itself merely by looking at these charts."
