It does kinda baffle me how this ship isn't a bit more popular. But I think it's mostly because it's a crack ship. As far as I know (I haven't read the comics or seen S9 yet), Fluttershy and Sombra have never interacted with each other, thus making it a crack ship, thus no one would really think of shipping them. But I could still see it working if Sombra was the one to be reformed instead of Discord. Maybe even working better than Discord, tho I still think Fluttercord is a top tier ship.
But still, I'm glad Evehly does art on them. They make a cute Fluttershy and a hot looking Sombra and make them a pretty cute couple so I got no complaints
