Yeah, I set my threshold to -5 a looong time ago for that reason. Prevents the chronic downvoters from hiding everything, but still gets rid of the worst of the herp derp comments.

Ya know, I gotta give props to the community mangers. I've set my threshold to something ludicrous like -30 and still don't see that many comments that make me want to tear my eyes out. If it weren't for the overwhelmingly kind and funny community here, I'd Probably would not have come here as frequently as I have. Thanks to all those keeping this sight a safe and happy place.
