Description

The Wayfarers first met when they were called to a dinner party to be held in their honor, each of them a distinguished adventurer and former member of the Pathfinder Society, quit or exiled for one reason or another.

Despite being instructed to meet in different places all around Golarion, the soon-to-be-Wayfarers all found themselves arriving in the manor of an eccentric, dragon-like humanoid calling himself "Eurt Nogard". They all just called him 'Noggle' for short. He eagerly gushed and geeked out about each one as they emerged, recounting their heroic exploits from memory with exquisite detail none should be privy to. He bid them to form an new adventuring guild with his backing, so that he might indulge in tales of their adventures.

Naturally quite suspicious of their benefactor, the adventurers' inquiries grew a bit too aggressive for the dragon's frail constitution, and he was soon overcome, fainting and reverting to his true form - a tremendous, feral Vortex Dragon.

The Wayfarers soon found the very space around them warping and distorting as the dragon's aura was inadvertently unleashed, and soon the protections surrounding his extra-dimensional home came down, allowing interplanetary parasites known as Aakta to breach the sanctum.

Fighting off the beasts, the party attempted to escape the manor, but outside found themselves looking down upon Golarion from out amongst the stars. It seemed the Dragon had used his mastery over spatial distortion to erect his base of operations on an asteroid, linking the doors within the manor to the planet beneath when it suited him.

They managed to awaken the Dragon before the manor's atmosphere was fully depleted, and agreed to form the Wayfarers, much to his glee.

Noggle now aids the Wayfarers in transport around Golarion, able to connect any door accessible by the world's surface to his manor for the Wayfarers' use, which has come as a tremendous boon to their adventuring. All he asks in return is detailed reports of their exploits to add to his collection - the massive library of adventuring tomes that make up the dragon's hoard, which he jealously guards, though will happily recount stories from to those who ask. Though his status as a True Dragon makes him amongst the most powerful creatures in the cosmos, his fragile psyche causes him to faint at the merest hint of violence in his presence, so he prefers to indulge in tales of adventure from the safety of his hoard.
