Trace's old magic is going to try and reanimate his dead wife with a sacrifice, Human's gettin all prejudiced with Best Mom, and every character worth a damn is trapped in a magical Holodeck.

I hope we see more of the Tiger Tribes.

I'm guessing the "good side" of his magic is teleporting Trace and Flora to the Tavern to help Maeve and Adira, while Rose and the gang have to save Maren? Or maybe the evil side is sending T/F away so they can't interfere?

My guess on story continuation:
That's another wolf clan member disguised as a guard, taking Adira away for "questioning"

why kidnap her?
"She was protected by Trace during the attack on the city, she must be important to Trace" (while in reality, Trace was protecting her because he didn't want innocents to get hurt)


Then, Meave will go to the guards in the town and ask why her mom was taken away, they are confused about it, asks for details, still can't figure it out, the guards goes to Trace's mansion for answers and finds out that Trace and the others are in their own troubles

I don't think the magic in the mansion has anything to do with the mirror in the tavern. Back when they first met Adira she mentioned that the main attraction of the tavern was that the mirror was an instant teleporter to a sister tavern a long distance away before the magic stopped working all of a sudden one day. And we have seen it activating again before.
