News: Feb 26, 2025 Show

Feb 26th:A new bill in Arizona is making its way through the Senate that would force sites like e621 to implement mandatory age verification for all users—or face potential lawsuits. This system would require third-party vendors to verify every user’s age through a government database. Not only is this a massive violation of privacy, but it also introduces serious risks, including identity theft through phishing schemes and other malicious methods. Worse still, we would have no control over ensuring that user data is permanently deleted after verification.

Since e621 operates out of Arizona, this law would almost certainly impact us if it passes. If you want to help ensure that we can continue serving you without being forced to collect personal information, we urge you to contact Arizona’s senators and ask them to vote NO on this bill.

Please help spread the word about this issue and encourage others to take action.

    To the uploader; don't forget to put the ''char:'' command in front of the character names so they appear in the character list. I fixed it for you, but just for reference purposes it should look something like ''char:marta'' in the tags

    I haven't been on the forumns for a while now, so correct me if mistaken; but...

    Didn't that feature got removed a while ago?
    Meaning that, in order to create a character tag, it starts as a general one, then must be changed to character-type in the tags tab

    I get that the heartbeat was added to signify a near climax type deal, but I've always found something like that to be excessive, you do well enough on the expressions and the pacing to show us thats about to happen, adding in the heartbeat didnt really do anything for me in this regard. In fact it felt mildly redundant. I'm not sure if my opinion is shared in that regard but there it is.

    You may be thinking of how you used to set artist tags. The on-the-fly tag changing functionality was disabled from them specifically.
