  • The mood of the fandom is snuffing out any chance of this character appearing in the sequel.

  • I have a feeling this is a metacommentary on the zootopia fandom’s attitude towards any non-wildehopps ships.

I don't know. At this point it feels perfunctory. Expected. It's not even shocking, new or interesting anymore. It's just a job. I know from holding a grudge but I guess it stopped being anything of substance.

While not impossible, it's quite unlikely that Jack would ever appear in a sequel especially as he was originally envisioned because he'd ruin Judy's character arc. ie. If a rabbit can be a superspy, what's the problem with a bunny wanting to be a cop?

Also, what's funny is that Nick evolved from Jack. According to the creators, the original story pitch was for Jack Savage superspy, but then they wanted the "fox/bunny as partners" dynamic so Jack became a fox and got a name change... Jack Savage to Nick Wilde. That lasted for about 10 seconds before the next story change but at its core SavageHopps IS WildeHopps.

I don't want to say this, especially after the fanbase gave Jack his own story and character that doesn't really revolve around the main cast and is in a relationship with the vixen Skye Winters. But since its relevant to this garbage pic and what you just said: Jack is cucked beyond the biblical and metaphysical scale, Jack is cucked in a absolute galactic level, and Nick Wilde is the all mighty omnipotent God-Bull.

I apologize to all Jack Savage fans.

I mean that, well, like a later commenter said, this is basically just butthurt craftsmanship, not art anymore. It's not a creative craft, it's following a plan exactly. Paint by numbers, build an IKEA Gerfüffen with an Allen wrench and extra screws. Like I said, perfunctory. He also reminds me of a Fallout ghoul. They soak up dangerous rads to keep moving, this guy is so "it's my hot body, I'll do what I want" that it elicits pity. At least from me. It's not even funny anymore to watch this come out on an assembly line. Now it just makes me sad.

Blame the artist for starting shit.

He has an OC that’s a woc named “slave-chan”, also beefed with a top zootopia artist for using their OC in sexual manners that the artist didn’t want. He is all about starting shit.

Funnily enough, that's how Krystal Appreciation Month started. Maybe when Albine has enough talent and pull he'll start Judy Appreciation Month?

  • There are a few reasons why this is going to be a thumbs down for me.

The art is somewhat on an average to sub-par level...but...it is still better than anything I could do. The biggest reason it's a thumbs down for me though isn't the overall content. While I am all on board as a Hopps/Wilde fan, I don't mind seeing other ships if the art is of a decent quality. But at this point, the art has no creative flair or reasons behind it. As said in a previous comment from someone else, it seems like the artist's main reasons for making 90% of his art is just to spite/piss off anywho who is a Hopps/Wilde fan and stir things up with them. Again....I don't mind seeing art of other ships, especially when the art is quality. But when it seems like your main reason for pumping out piece after piece is to intentionally upset a community/fan-base solely because you can and for your enjoyment....it stops being funny. Now, it is just repetitive and honestly, a little sad at this point. Honestly, I feel this artist could potentially go somewhere with his art if he could just move past the haters and stop devoting so much of his art to just angering the fan-base.

This. Deliberately inflaming a fandom does nothing for said fandom or the artist’s image. To be perfectly frank, the hate boner he has for WildeHopps and anyone who supports that ship, the utter disregard and disrespect he shows to other artists and authors, and his attitude to anyone who disagrees with him is just exhausting and annoying at this point.

  • Maybe when Albine has enough talent and pull

I'll come back in a couple of years and see how that went...
    .
Interesting touch that he gave Nick enough credence to by able to write backwards on the window, either that or the obvious didn't occur to him.

Slave-Chan is part of an ongoing joke I had with humans being waifus in the zootopia universe and one of my OCs naming his human a slave. People got really bothered about her skin color and got madder when I made fun of some of them in the comments. I based myself on the amazons of the anime dungeon ni when designing her.

The OC beef part was that Thrasshassaurex created a vixen daughter of Nick ages ago and I always wanted to see porn of that vixen, so I decided to do it since no one else was drawing. From what I know from her original background, Nick was in a gay relationship and the guy forced Nick to get male-pregnant before abandoning him and the baby. I assume Nick gave birth to Isa through his butt, so butt baby. I based myself on this and created a parody rule34 version of Isa, 18 years old.

Thrasshassaurex asked me to not draw her, I said I'd still draw her. She seemed ok with dropping the matter since it was not a big issue for her or for me but people still whine about it to this day. I'm not a fan of posting the pms people send me to back a statement but I have a few dedicated haters here that love to use her as an excuse to rant in the comments.

Shows how she's the bigger person.

  • In response to a question about "beef over an OC" - AlbineFox answered with: "Thrasshassaurex asked me to not draw her (the OC in question), I said I'd still draw her. She seemed ok with dropping the matter since it was not a big issue for her or for me but people still whine about it to this day."

To me, seems like Thrasshassaurex just decided to be the bigger individual because AlbineFox clearly doesn't seem to care about an individual when in relation to that individual's OCs and figured it would be better and less stressing to keep pressing the matter when the offender clearly doesn't care that they are in the wrong in the first place.

If a person asks you to not use their OCs in your artwork and you are like "Nah, I am still gonna use them in my art." It doesn't make you the good guy. It just makes you seem like a prick in the end...and thus.... "people still whine about it to this day."

  • Yeah, honestly I kind of agree. Just because the OC is public(posted on the artist's page) doesn't make it fair use. Canon characters that are a part of large media are one thing, some obscure artist's OCs are another. Seems kind of creepy to lewd someone's characters without their consent.
