Description

Now we're talking! Sure, a carpet cleaner for your gloryhole is a bit of an investment, but it'll pay for itself after a few dudes anyway.

(see strips early on https://patreon.com/braeburned !)

_
Featuring Vibri (they/them) as a patron cameo! Also, if you missed it on the first strip: these "Fluff" one-offs are gonna be more slice-of-life style than the first part of this comic. I'm excited to keep building on and exploring their lil world!

  • Would it not seem strange that the whiteboard would be at knee height when it's covering the hole? How would they explain that to people, "We have a lot of mice friends that like to leave messages when we're gone"?

  • Okay, I can't help but wonder just what their landlord thinks about all of this. It can't just be me...

    ...right?

Maybe it's inside-out when covering the hole and looks less suspicious from the back?

Page 4 explains its not the original door. And the hole is covered when not in use. Landlord is probably absentee and hasn't noticed.

And unless its specifically stated in the lease it's most likely legal to switch your door as you please. So long as when your lease is over the property is in the same condition as when you first signed the lease (with consideration to normal wear and tear).

The legality of running a one man brothel, however, is shaky at best.

Even if they did have all the permits required to have such an operation, if zoning laws apply, they're either gonna need to re-zone their entire apartment building, find a new place, which defeats the purpose, or just break the law.

I thought it would have been cleaver to have a very tall whiteboard. (they do exist) to cover the whole door and have it be movable by either Velcro or some other mechanism

A lot of buildings (in nyc for example) have a storefront with apartments above it so there's a chance it's dual zoned already.

Taxes however, are gonna get them totally fucked. The fed doesnt like not getting their cut, and I guarantee the irs is gonna come a knocking.

On the flipside that just means more potential customers!

  • So how exactly do they open the door? I mean you can slide the bench and everything, but it looks like you'd have to deconstruct part of the bench to fully open the door comfortably.

Personally think the bench just goes through the hole? It's not attached to the door. So you can pick it up and slip it back through the hole.

The landlord is probably gonna have a few questions.

They'd probably just offer the landlord a few rounds with olli
and knowing furry porn, he'd accept.
    they'd be fine

I mean without access to a law book from the 609 universe there's no way to determine what would be legal or not there. Further more, considering the world appears to have shifted to a clothing optional one and appears to be relatively sex positive, I would wager a guess that most of the legal barriers that prevent prostitution in our world are either things of the past or never existed in the 609 universe.

unless given clear indication otherwise I just assume they are in a furry version of our world. I was drawing from my limited understanding of US law. Plus I find the mental exercise entertaining.

Understandable. After all with limited information it's reasonable to default to what we understand from our own experiences.
