Patreon has been cracking down HARD on hentai/illustrated H artists. Essentially they consider any anime character that doesn't look like, 30, to be under the age of 18 because their "face looks too young" or some other explanation. Admittedly he already had to move his loli stuff to Substar/Fanbox, but they still got on his ass about the non-loli stuff and so he said "F U" to them. So it's less that he got permabanned and more that he got fed up. Patreon are rather unpleasant to work with and hold a strong prejudice towards hentai and particularly loli works, I'm always happy to see artists getting out of there.

Now if only Substar could accept paypal or fanbox wasn't so strict with censorship. No free lunch with these patron services :P

I know you weren't speaking to me, but I got to say something.. what patreon doesn't realize is anime characters are modeled after real life Japanese women, which ironically have younger-looking faces, when they are between the ages of 20 and 30... So I fail to see the problem here, and honestly I'm not even going to get into the fact that you should not even put an age to a drawing..

I bet they're only doing it for some bullshit self-proclaimed moral reason because of advertisers or something, because otherwise it is completely unnecessary and downright naive

I really feel for artists dealing with idiot companies like this, who can't distinguish fiction from reality, It's just sad. (Probably the most angry comment I've left here, but this is just one of the things that really pisses me off. Plus with recent news I'm already in a sour mood, apologies if this comes off rude, it's not directed at you or anybody here)

I mean, "she's a 5,000-year old dragon in the body of a prepubescent girl" as an actual line of defense can be legitimately problematic and it muddies the waters when you're dealing with what is effectively an alien species that stands like 3' tall where the artist's style may or may not be deliberately making them look as loliesque as possible. There's an extremely uncomfortable grey area that this stuff inhabits and I'm never surprised to find artists getting kicked off platforms over it.

That said, the Patreon administration are a bunch of virtue signalling cucks who'll ban you for happening to run afoul of any one of the trumped-up nuances of their PC ideology, and frankly they can get fucked.

That's really sad. At first, I thought it was because Ploxy did something weird, like he always does. But, if that's why be got banned, that's quite unfortunate.
