Yeah. It's really really rare to be completely color blind. It's usually just Red, Green or Blue

That angle of perspective can be very tricky in drawing of faces, it is not as easy as a profile view, where facial features can simply be defined by drawing their shapes. Creating those shapes from that viewing angle is a matter of using shading. Still not easy, even if you know how. shading can make facial features pop out, or make a face look deformed if you use too much or too little.
