News: Feb 26, 2025 Show

Feb 26th:A new bill in Arizona is making its way through the Senate that would force sites like e621 to implement mandatory age verification for all users—or face potential lawsuits. This system would require third-party vendors to verify every user’s age through a government database. Not only is this a massive violation of privacy, but it also introduces serious risks, including identity theft through phishing schemes and other malicious methods. Worse still, we would have no control over ensuring that user data is permanently deleted after verification.

Since e621 operates out of Arizona, this law would almost certainly impact us if it passes. If you want to help ensure that we can continue serving you without being forced to collect personal information, we urge you to contact Arizona’s senators and ask them to vote NO on this bill.

Please help spread the word about this issue and encourage others to take action.
Further information on the bill itself can be found at the Free Speech Coalition: https://action.freespeechcoalition.com/bill/arizona-hb-2112/

  • Hate killing bugs and spiders. I just don't like seeing the stains they leave behind or hearing something in them crack under my hand

  • My rule, if you're in my house, it's fair game. I killed a spider once outside my house cause I thought it was a wolf spider. It was a grass spider. Either way, I felt bad.

  • If bugs are outdoors, I leave them alone. If they're in my house they are legally trespassing and that gives me the right to shoot them. I've ruined a lot of furniture this way.

Ok I now have another reason to be glad there's gun control in England, because this is definitely something I'd do

i've once almost bought an airsoft rifle to shoot the roaches coming out of an old well theres in my backyard. i didn't because i thought that may molest my neightbors since houses are pretty close thogether. at night during summer, you can see them coming out on groups of al least 4 around the well and sometimes on the shed walls as if they were hanging out.

Sorry to say, but I believe wolf spiders are harmless.

Get one of those insect "bombs" really is just an aerosol that doesn't shut off once you activate it.. throw it down the well. Mosquito's like to hang out in those places too: they are the only 2 species I can't respect on this earth... that is to say that if there was a mass genocide event wiping them all out it wouldn't bother me at all -- don't get me wrong humans get difficult to respect, but I actually "click" with the morals on that one
