They'll be fine. I think child bones are made primarily of some sort of slinky like material, because I've seen my nephew sleep nearly folded in half because he fell out of bed in the middle of the night. Woke up bright eyed and bushy tailed like he'd been in a sleep number bed. Ahhh, youth.

I used to be able to sleep on concrete. Probably still could, but just wake up with aching joints.

That "YEEEAAHH~!!!" the bug kid does on top of the sand castle really made this panel for me.

You should give it a try sometimes. It kinda looks like the 'Tiger Knee' sleeping position some people have spoke about (named so from the attack pose Sagat takes when doing the move of the same name; laying on your stomach one leg raised and one arm lifted to support your head, usually with a pillow). I have stomach problems and sleeping like this is surprisingly comfortable.
