Not quite. If you look closely, her lady bits and pubes are rendered as a texture - they're just subtle.

Clearly, it was laundry day..

The lack of underwear on her Smash model reminds me of a regular weekly column Rare used to have on their site, back in the N64 days and when Dinosaur Planet hadn't been hijacked as a Star Fox title yet.

A reader question about the game's progress was answered, and included a comment from the column writer (who was also a Rare employee) about how their artists blew off steam from working long hours by goofing off, and a couple of them had done a version of Krystal in sexy lingerie.

Wonder who was responsible for her Smash model going commando.
