New servants at the Manor normally go through a long screening and vetting process. However, high-ranking Sisters have access to a much more expedient alternative, known as "The Evaluation Committee". Any high-ranking Sister may present a prospective servant before the committee and use whatever means she deems fit to demonstrate the male's worth as a servant.
