April 10th: The bill has been vetoed!
April 2nd: The politicians in Arizona are about to sign into law a bill that would mandate sites like e621 to either impose age verification on all users or be at a risk of lawsuits. Such system would be required to go through third party vendors, who in turn must go through a government database to verify every user's age. This is not only a major violation of privacy, but it also opens up a very real danger of identity theft through phishing schemes and other methods, not to mention that we would not be able to control any of that information to make sure it is permanently deleted after age verification is complete.
Unfortunately, Arizona is the state out of which e621 operates, which means that this law will almost certainly affect us if it is to pass. If want to help us ensure that this site can continue to serve you without being required to know who you are, please ask the Arizona governor to veto this bill.
Please, help us get the word out by letting others know about this issue.
For some further information on what the bill does have a look at https://action.freespeechcoalition.com/bill/arizona-hb-2586/
We still have a Discord server, come talk to us!

MemberAnyone know why a ton of vore animations are just vanishing from PH?

MemberThey tend to be amateur work, and a kerfuffle around credit cards, consent, and abuse led Pornhub to take the drastic step of nuking non-verified content, which turned out to be huge amounts of video. You'd think animated models probably aren't worried about being exploited, but, here we are.

Memberif they really wanted to; pornhub could of set up a ko-fi, a patreon, a monthly crowdfund campaign, and an paypal. There are so many ways to transact money to/from the internet that pornhub didn't see the forest for the trees so they just doused all the trees in napalm.
Thatdragonendeyfire
Memberum. no. pornhub has a premium you can buy (as do most sites that see profit in veiwership with the promise of no ads)
they dont need to setup a coffee or a patio. they have money as is, they dont need to crowdfund.
no pornhub, just nuked everything. i understand why, but you cant twist it to be something it isnt. it was a nuking.

Memberhonestly i was wondering the same thing... since it was animations i figured they would be spared but then again... we aren't in the times where a actual human beinf reviews the content...since it's mostly A.I i think almost everything gets flagged just like the YouTube and Cp fiasco

MemberPornhub nuking 90% of its content was a sad day, mostly becouse all of those poor memes that were too spicy for youtube : (.

Member"flagged for review", not deleted.

MemberTo be clear, I don't think they were an intended target, so much as collateral as "non-verified." It's not that they said "Nuke all these videos," it was "Nuke everything *except* for these videos that we're sure of." Ideally they'd have some people working to get people affected verified if they were an animator or something, but I wouldn't hold my breath for anything happening soon. There was a *lot* of stuff to get through.

MemberI tried to get verified, but 1)they require WAY too much personal information, and 2)they require you to send them a photo to prove that your appearance matches your stated gender, and since I'm a non-passing transgirl, I'm unable to fulfill that requirement. So that's why I uploaded it here instead. :/
