Feb 26th:A new bill in Arizona is making its way through the Senate that would force sites like e621 to implement mandatory age verification for all users—or face potential lawsuits. This system would require third-party vendors to verify every user’s age through a government database. Not only is this a massive violation of privacy, but it also introduces serious risks, including identity theft through phishing schemes and other malicious methods. Worse still, we would have no control over ensuring that user data is permanently deleted after verification.

Since e621 operates out of Arizona, this law would almost certainly impact us if it passes. If you want to help ensure that we can continue serving you without being forced to collect personal information, we urge you to contact Arizona’s senators and ask them to vote NO on this bill.

Breeding Project - Part 1

Story Excerpt

Student debt was a killer. Sherri was only a couple years out of university and she was still feeling the pangs of debt, living at home with her mom and working as a backpacker sales girl with her magic collection was keeping her head above water but she had become more open to unconventional ways of making money. A peculiar email offered a healthy sum of money, five thousand a month and only a few visits for some sort of experimental program. Normally she would have just tossed it aside as some sort of get rich quick scheme, transferring a thousand bucks in hopes of riches, but the location was only a ten minute drive… and they had a free breakfast!

Although the free breakfast turned out to be fast food egg sandwiches it was still fine for a ten minute drive, and there didn’t happen to be many takers for this supposed opportunity so Sherri didn’t feel bad about smuggling a few extra in her purse for later! The entire office seemed sort of sterile and unassuming with a few seats and generic art on the walls. She’d signed various forms without really reading them, something about testing the fertility of more rare furres and helping increase the population. They’d asked about her heat cycles, if she’d been pregnant before, what she did for a living, in all it seemed pretty invasive but it felt like any standard job application.

A few moments after she dropped off the forms she was lead into the back past the examination rooms to one where there seemed to be more intensive equipment and a large portly rhinoceros male in a labcoat looking over what she could only guess were test results. His eyes immediately glanced up to the newcomer with a friendly smile upon his face. “Ah, perfect. Sherri correct?” She nodded. “I’m Doctor Lex, and I’m so glad you responded to our email.”
